Tired of their outdated kitchen and underutilised sitting room… Our brief was to design and create an all-encompassing sophisticated space to be enjoyed by family and friends, both young and old. Make use of the light provided and garden views over the fields beyond.
We achieved this by designing the kitchen around a centrepiece island with the emphasis on keeping the cooking/preparation away from the island. Using an ’in frame’ shaker kitchen with a ’stepped shaker’ door offered a modern interpretation to an otherwise classic. Walls were painted in a warm taupe colour complementing the kitchens farrow and ball earthy tones and opaque marble finish to the worktop. We used Neff appliances, dovetailed oak soft close drawers, on trend internal storage solutions and a bespoke larder for our client’s everyday needs. The kitchen allows for plenty of circulation space, positioning the sitting area and dining space to benefit from the glorious views over the garden. The artwork and soft furnishings were all chosen by us to compliment the clients wood furniture, painted in matching colours.
